The tracks were primarily written and produced by Vincent Montana Jr., who also conducted the orchestra. Montana also played vibes and did some arranging for Gamble & Huff's house band, MFSB Some well-known tracks include 'Salsoul Hustle' (1975), 'Nice 'N' Naasty' (1976), 'Magic Bird of Fire' (1977), and 'Take Some Time Out For Love' (1982).
